Indiana State Museum was started in 1862. Indiana state museum is located within White River State Park. The museum has science, culture, history and art of Indiana. It also has the largest I-MAX theater of the state. With more than 40,000 square feet of exhibit space, and over 300,000 artifacts in collections, the museum covers the history of the natural world, Native Americans, cultural history, and the future of Indiana.
Indianapolis Zoo
The Indianapolis Zoo is located in the beautiful White River State Park. There are more than 1,900 species of plants within the zoo. The variety of animals is extensive, with polar bears, giraffes, rhinos, tigers, and bears , monkeys, meercats, on and on.The shark petting area is actually one of the most favorite for many people, just watching them can be entertaining. Then also the walrus likes to put on his own show once in a while. It also has a zoological park, botanical garden, and aquarium.

Spring Mill State Park
Spring Mill State park is a 1,358-acre (5 km2) state park in the state of Indiana. The park is located on the Mitchell Karst Plain, which allowed the park's caves and sinkholes to form in the limestone. The caves include Bronson Cave, Twin Caves, Shawnee Cave, Hamer Cave, etc. A portion of the park is virgin timber. The Mitchell Karst Plain Nature Preserve has large number of sinkholes, more than 1000 per square mile.
